September 4th- October 27th
Artist reception- September 15th 6-9pm
Artist appreciation and interpretations of our awe-inspiring surroundings, both Show More...natural and man-made. The landscape as a subject for painters has been long standing favorite. For some it is the engaging experience on being surrounded by their muse, for others it is a longing for a distant place while diligently working in a controlled space. Paintings of the space we inhabit and have yet to visit speak volumes to the relationship we have with the greater world, it's humbling while intimate. We are part of something synergistic, a cycle, a constant change. Part of the greatness of capturing a scene is that it is eternally secured, now a moment in time encapsulated and celebrated for others to enjoy beyond that which happened just once. This collection of works give a not only an appreciation for the skill and talents of the artists but an opportunity for the viewers to look through a unique lens at something glorious and yet often taken for granted.

Amassing the Inner Harvest
6-7:30pm
$35 (materials included)
We "amass" that which is valuable and substantial Show More...over time- however not necessarily everything is specific to material things. Do you "amass a personal harvest?" Learn to embrace the value in "weeding, waiting, wielding, and even whacking away at" that which you do or do not personally want and increase your bounty of inner guidance and abundance along the way! This session will entail considering your own personal cornucopia of what it takes for you to be a bountiful being: identifying empowerment & joy;
effortlessly letting go when timing is right, just as the trees let go of their leaves; and contemplating what will be held onto and incubated over time, ready to grow and blossom when a new season begins. *
Through guided meditation, creating collage card(s) using select imagery, and posing pertinent questions (that can only be individually answered), participants will contemplate their own cornucopia and amass their own bounty of inner harvest through this card-collage making process! This inspired and creatively card-collage making session is for participants familiar with the process of SoulCollage® as created by Seena Frost.
However, please contact the gallery if you have been unable to attend an introductory session prior to this event, but have an interest in doing so. No artistic skill needed! Recommended that you bring journal!
