New Hope, PA – The 2015 Sixth Annual New Hope Film Festival will take place from July 24th through August 2nd. Mark your calendars now! 

New Hope Film Festival is excited to announce that tickets are available on our website on June 15th at www.newhopefilmfestival.com. The 2015 Program Guide has the schedule, venues, a description of each film and more. Watch trailers for some of the films in the News section on our website

Judges selected 97 Official Selections with 80 films from 16 countries with many U.S. and world premieres. Countries represented are USA, Sweden, Germany, Australia, South Africa, Canada, France, Bahrain, Puerto Rico, Georgia, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Taiwan, South Korea, Italy, and the Russian Federation.

The Festival is proud to be honoring Susan Seidelman with a Lifetime Achievement Award on Sunday, August 2nd for her outstanding contributions to film. Ms. Seidelman is a writer, producer, director and actor. You may be familiar with Ms. Seidelman’s name, as she directed the film DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN, starring Madonna.

There will be a special screening of Ms. Seidelman’s 2011 directorial work, MUSICAL CHAIRS on August 2nd from 12:00 – 2:00 at the New Hope Arts Center, 2 Stockton Avenue, New Hope. Further information about the event is in the 2015 Program Guide.

New Hope Film Festival, touted as “this emerging ‘Sundance East’” in a June 2012 article in The Huffington Post, was founded by D. F. Whipple, an author, screenwriter, and long-time resident of the New Hope area.
