When John Gallagher jumped out of a hospital window more than 10 years ago, he wasn’t thinking about his wife or children. He just wanted the peace he believed was at the bottom.

At the time, the Richboro resident was suffering from depression, but he didn’t know it.

Now, to prevent other families from dealing with similar tragedies, Gallagher, his estranged wife Trisha, and their four adult children are trying to raise awareness about depression through talks and their new book, “No More Secrets: A Family Speaks about Depression, Anxiety and Attempted Suicide.”
